Meet Claire. Senior.Swimmer.Rugby girl.Sweetheart.
We had a blast between spending time at her pool and our photo locations in downtown Joliet. She was a natural! That smile will just melt your heart. I met Claire and her family a few years back. Our daughters played rugby together. She loves rugby, no doubt, but swimming has her heart. Nothing makes me happier than when a Senior really gets into their photo session and we get to plan shooting locations based around their personalities. Claire definitely did not disappoint! She even met me bright and early at 6:15 am at her local pool to get started. It was a big day for her.. Senior Photo shoot and Homecoming! Two hair appointments, lots of cameras in her face and she was still so much fun to work with.
During this session, I decided not to wear proper footwear. What happens ? Flip-flop style sandals and a mud hill don't mix. Guess who slid down a hill of mud on her backside? This girl! Thankfully Claire's mom saved the day by giving me a garbage bag to sit on in my car! Can you say mortified? Oh, I was! If I've said it once, I've said it a million times. When the photographer looks like an escaped convict at the end of your session - you just got great portraits! That saying really holds true for me. Just ask anyone.
Claire, I know we split your session up into two dates so we could accommodate for Homecoming and for fall color season. Here's your sneak peek today. Thank you, thank you so much for being such a sweet soul to work with. I wish you nothing but the best in your very bright future. Oh, the places you will go! - Cheri
If your session was a song - I would pick Sunshine,Daydream by The Grateful Dead.
Enjoy.
